June 29th -July 4th, 2012 Three Days to Go…

Three days before the big day, I titled this entry and then I had to put the computer to sleep to leave the house and go take care of last minute preparations for the wedding, so here I am now ON the big day wondering what I was going to write about back on July 4th?  The main thing I remember is shopping for my ring bearers wedding day clothes, and even though it took us the better part of one whole day and a lot of driving around and searching through the tiny boys’ sections of several department stores, we finally found something that I think is going to work.  As I wrote about in the last blog entry, many of the details of getting ready for this day have taken on a life of their own and decided they needed to be more important tasks which took up copious amounts of time and energy which we didn’t expect. Boy am I glad we arrived almost 3 weeks before the event as it has taken ever bit of that time to get everything accomplished!! The good thing is we had most everything done by the time the houseguests started to arrive on July 3rd.  On the fourth, my matron of honor and her daughter (one of my flower girls arrived), and we started off the festivities with a few balls of fire at the fantastic fireworks show down at Cheadle Lake.  And it’s been a whirlwind of activities since then…
