Wow, has it really been seven days since the last time I wrote anything!?!? It’s been one of those weeks in which I am not sure where the time has gone. It started out with a last minute trip to Roi with both boys for the Webelos Camp Out (not planned originally for us because dad was going to go with my oldest, and the youngest, not yet a Webelo, was going to stay with my fiancé and I on Kwaj), but he had to leave on a business trip a little earlier than expected, so we were off and running. Even though my youngest and I did not actually camp out in tents, but rather stayed in a rented “hotel” room on Roi, we were exhausted by the end of the 2 night adventure. So exhausted, that I decided not to stay another day (even though it was a holiday and a day off for us all), and we came home Monday morning to rest up and spend a leisurely day at home on Tuesday. Then, as 4 day work and school weeks tend to do, it went by really fast and furious with my Wolf Den’s celebratory meeting for making rank on Wednesday, a quiet night at home on Thursday, then tennis lessons and an overnight visit from my honey on Friday, and it was back to the weekend again, spent working on the first night at one of our programs pajama movie nights. Overall, a good time was had by everyone at the above events, but I’m still looking forward to summer, not only because of the wedding and visits with family coming up, but also for life to slow back down a bit. Can’t believe it’s almost March already…I’ll try not to make it so long between writing next time. If I could only slow time down a little bit, I’d have more time to write about it. J
