Tell us about the time when you performed a
secret random act of kindness — where the recipient of your kindness never
found out about your good deed. How did the deed go down?
This is
another prompt I could take a lesson from and add to my New Year’s
Resolutions. I can’t really say there’s
a secret, random act of kindness I’ve performed for anyone, at least not one
planned and purposeful. I’ve certainly
done for others and helped out where I felt I could, but secret and random acts
of kindness…not so much. I feel a little embarrassed by this….all the more
reason to add this to my New Year’s resolutions, Perform More Random Acts of
Kindness in 2016. There, that was easy,
right?! Now, the trick will be to start paying closer attention to what random
acts of kindness I can perform to help others.
I think that it’s not so much something you can plan for, but rather a
mindset of selflessness and care taking that becomes a good habit. Wish me luck….or maybe just pray for me to be
more attentive to the whisperings of my Creator and the ways in which He has
for me to be a blessing to others in the upcoming year.
