You’re
stranded in a foreign city for a day with no money and no friends. Where do you
go; what do you do?
Well, if
there is a tourist information office nearby, I’ll probably head there first to
get some information, particularly on free things to do in the city. This
usually includes historical walking tours, etc…If not, and I had a phone with
me, I’d look up free things to do in that particular city and take the time to
learn something about it given that I have only one day here and don’t know if
I’ll ever make it back.
Not sure why
I would be stuck for a day with no money (especially in today’s world of
“electronic money”), but if that was the case, the only problem would be food.
I’m sure I would get hungry, and I’m not sure how I would buy food. So, if I
did get really hungry, I would look for the nearest shelter or soup kitchen to
let them know about my situation and offer to wash the dishes or help serve
food for awhile in exchange for a meal afterwards.
Hopefully,
by the end of my one day in a foreign city, I will have made some friends, so
that next time, I will have somewhere to go. J
Not a very
creative answer I suppose…what would you do?
