What makes a teacher great?
Dedication, passion, enthusiasm, and preparation makes a teacher great!
Truly great teachers are willing to stay after school as long as it takes to
help a struggling student, to meet with a concerned parent, to grade papers, or
get ready for the next day’s lessons and activities. Truly great teachers love what they do, and
they feel most comfortable with the students in their classroom, teaching. Truly great teachers bring their love of the
job right to the students when they cheer for a student as he finally gets that
math problem he’s been challenged by. Truly great teachers get excited about
new ways to teach, and these teachers are always looking for ways to make learning
fun for everyone. Truly great teachers
are well-prepared to start each day with their students because they know that
the more prepared they are, the smoother the day will go, and the more the
students will learn. Truly great
teachers are one of our most precious commodities! We should always take care
of and appreciate them with the same love, time, and thoughtfulness they put
into caring for and teaching our children.
