September 23: Writing Prompt #266-Non Sequitur

Write a post about anything you’d like, but be sure to include this sentence somewhere in the final paragraph: “He tried to hit me with a forklift!”
When I first met my love, I didn’t know how much he would change my life.  It all started with a simple game of pool and good conversation.  The friendship displayed from that very first night touched me to my core.  From that day forward, he was there for me in a way no one has ever been and through some of the toughest years of my life thus far.  I know that he will continue to be there through the rest of life’s challenges, and I am happy that he will be by my side through thick and thin.

I love that he wants to share every part of his life with me, where he grew up, what happens at work, stories from his past, and that he has chosen me to spend his future with. He is so good at taking the time to explain things that the boys or I don’t understand or have questions about, and he spends so much time planning fun adventures for us, but he can also be spontaneous and take off for a fun day at a moment’s notice. He makes fabulous meals to fill our tummies each day, is very handy around the house and with the vehicles, and he takes challenges head on, paying attention to all the little details and making sure everything is completed to the best it can be. Bottom line is, I enjoy his company. He makes me laugh, teaches me new things, and even has tried to hit me with a forklift! Ha! Ha! Just kidding about the forklift, but everything else is absolutely the truth.  Love you, Baby!
