Write a review of your life — or the life of
someone close to you—as if it were a movie or a book.
I have to
say that I really don’t like the “review” prompts where they ask me to write
about something or someone as if I were a critic. I’m not a critic, and I’m not trying to be
one, so I don’t really have any desire to practice writing like one. I will say this: I am very blessed. My life has been more than I ever could have
asked for or expected. As far as a movie
review of my life might go, it would be incomplete. My life has not finished
yet. In fact, I’m not even sure it has reached its most climatic point, so we’d
have a beginning, and some pretty exciting and dramatic events in the middle,
but without a climax or an ending, it’s not much of a story for a movie. I
think it’s been a pretty good life and an interesting one, but I guess we’ll
have to wait and see if it’s movie and/or four star worthy!
