November 9: Writing Prompt #313-About Page for the Future

Write the About page for your blog in 10 years.
My Current “About Me” section:
I’m a government employee with Child, Youth, and School Services and a mother of two who resided on a tiny atoll in the Pacific Ocean for the majority of my young adult life. I started this blog in an effort to share my everyday adventures with my family and friends from the tiny, unique island that was my home for 17 years. Now, I am stateside and feeling the strong desire to share my life with others through the written word calling me back to this blog, so I continue on, writing and sharing my story with whoever may choose to read it from wherever life takes me.
My Future “About Me” section:

I am a writer, an educator, and an advocate for children by day, and I’m a mother, wife, sister, and daughter all the time.  I started life as Susannah from Alabama (except I didn’t have the banjo on my knee), and got the travel bug upon my first overseas experience in college.  I moved from Alabama ½ across the world to Kwajalein and started my family there, then years later moved to the Pacific Northwest and finally back overseas to where my journey began, Europe.  Since 2010, I have been recording my life’s simple adventures and insights about faith, family, love, and working with children, connecting with those I adore through the written word. It’s my life’s journal, my love letter to my family and friends, my history of our family, and my passion.  It’s not always full of excitement (just like life), sometimes it’s mundane and plain, but it’s all genuine and mine. I’m nothing if not transparent, wearing my heart on my sleeve most days. So, if you choose to read on, I hope you enjoy, but either way, make sure you get out and create your own adventures too. That’s the most important thing…that you live life, whether or not you record it is not as crucial as simply living it with purpose.  Live YOUR dream!
